AbstractKonrad Adenauer,the first premier of th Federal Republic of Germany,was the chief if not sole architect of it's postwar foreign policy.His policy brought about the Federal Republic's intergration and acceptance into the Western alliance,and led to it's economic prosperity.To some extent,the European Policy is a very important part of his all.Adenauer thought,strong support for Europe was one way of forgetting about being German after 1945 and of reestablishing relations with Germany's neighbors.It was also highly advantageous to the Germany economy.The theme of this thesis is about this,including why he improved the Europe Movement,why he promoted the close relationship between German and France and the impact of his European Strategy.
