摘要
近二十年来,西方语言学家和心理学家对优秀学习者(good learner)的特征进行了大量的研究。研究大都是关于优秀语言学习者(good language learner)的,也有少量关于其他学习者的。研究的起因大致有两方面。一是理论兴趣。在有关智商的研究中,常常利用学生做实验来验证智商试题的预示性和可靠性。后来又有人(如 J. B. Carroll)认为。
There has been a lot of research in learner differences in second language acquisition since the 1960s. This survey attempts to review the most important factors making for a successful learner. While no uniform profile of the good learner has emerged, some regular patterns of research are taking shape. The author hopes that similar research will soon be conducted in China to identify the characteristics of successful Chinese learners of language.
