摘要
本文介绍了美国俄勒冈州乔治·福克斯大学英语语言培训中心在二语教学中所采用的流利领先法 (其理论基础、基本教学思想、课堂活动的安排 ) ,分析了这种教学法能有效提高学生学术英语能力和语言综合运用能力的原因 ,并结合中国大学英语教学的实际 ,探讨了如何将这种教学法应用于大学英语阅读课堂。
In this paper, the author makes an introduction to the Fluency First Approach adopted by the English Language Institute of George Fox University in Oregon State of the United States of America, addressing its theoretical aspects, its methodological ideas and the arrangement of classroom activities. The author also analyzes why this approach can be effective in the improvement of students academic English aptitude and explores the problems that foreign language teachers in China may confront when they apply this approach to college English reading class.
