摘要
通过对刺桐基督教碑铭中的惯用语、纪年法等方面的研究,并与中亚、中国扬州等地出土的相似碑铭进行比较,同时参考了牛汝极教授等人的成果,澳大利亚研究团对泉州基督教碑铭中那些有较多文字且可辨识的碑文进行初步翻译,并附有对扬州及中亚相似碑铭的译文。
The Australian Research Team has done preliminary translations of Christian inscriptions from Quanzhou with the longer and more readable texts,by researching on the formulae and the dating systems found in Christian inscriptions,and comparing with the parallels unearthed in Central Asian and Yangzhou etc.,and with the help of Niu Ruji 's editions and others'.Moreover,the appendix concerning the translations of the parallels found in the Central Asian and Yangzhou,is added to the article.
