摘要
语境是语言交际中所不能忽视的一个重要因素。人们的语言交际活动是在一定的环境中进行的,受环境的制约影响。语境是语用的基础,语境对语用起制约作用,只有在具体的语境中实现和练习语言形式,才能培养学生的语用能力。本文探讨了语境与语用能力培养的关系,以及语境在英语教学中的作用。
Context is an unignorablely important factor in speech communication.Context restricts the speech act of the speaker and provides the hearers with situational meaning in comprehending the utterance.The relationship between context and students' pragmatic competence development in English teaching and the functions of context in English teaching are discussed.
