摘要
To the Editor:Obesity, which has currently become an important public health problem, has been considered a positive prognostic factor for patients with multiple chronic disorders, including pulmonary arterial hypertension,a phenomenon known as the“obesity paradox”.[1]However,whether this phenomenon exists in pulmonary hypertension(PH)secondary to chronic lung disease(CLD-PH)remains unknown. This study aimed to elucidate the association between body mass index(BMI)and mortality in CLD-PH patients.
