摘要
效应量的使用在国际语言教育研究领域日益流行,但在汉语国际教育研究中使用很少.本文包括三部分:一是讨论零假设显著性检验和p值使用的局限性;二是介绍不同种类效应量的基本概念、计算方法和解读标准,并结合实例介绍效应量在汉语国际教育中的应用;三是分析效应量在汉语国际教育中的应用现状,并针对效应量在汉语国际教育的应用提出相应建议.
Effect size has been widely used in the international area of second language research,yet its application is scant in studies on Chinese as a second language in China.This article includes three sections.The first section discussed the limitations of null hypothesis significance testing and the use of p value.The second section introduced the basic concepts and calculation methods of different types of effect sizes,and how to interpret the effect sizes.The last section analysed the state-of-art of the use of effect size in researching Chinese as a second language and proposed suggestions for future research.
