摘要
《数字人文:数字时代的知识与批判》一书从文化批判的角度探讨了数字人文的理论建构与学科建设.大卫·M.贝里和安德斯·费格约德两位作者首先提出了"数字人文堆栈",并将其作为全书的结构统领和数字人文的领域架构;在详细梳理数字人文发展历程的基础上,作者接着从计算思维、知识表示、基础设施、方法工具和学术界面五个方面详述了其作为一个学科的支撑体系;最后作者再一次对数字人文进行理论关照,指出数字人文是一个连贯一致的学科.文章旨在为该书提供一篇导读,从探讨什么是"批判"开始,回顾数字人文的概念变迁、阐明数字人文理论的重要性,对作者提出的数字人文框架及五大支柱进行解读,并结合已有研究成果,思考数字人文现实,提出了"数字人文堆栈2.0版".
Digital humanities:knowledge and critique in a digital age argues theoretical and disciplinary construction of Digital Humanities from the cultural critique point of view.David M.Berry and Anders Fagerjord provide a“Digital Humanities Stack”to guide the contents of the book and indicate the fundamental elements of Digital Humanities,show the genealogies of the Digital Humanities,explore computational thinking,knowledge representation,research infrastructures,digital methods and scholarship interface,then move towards a theoretical discussion and offer a notion of the Digital Humanities as a coherent discipline.This paper is a guided reading of the book.Starting with what is critique,the authors review the development of Digital Humanities,restate the importance of the Digital Humanities Theory,interpret the framework provided,and propose an update version of Digital Humanities Stack.
