出声读和默读对日语文章理解的影响研究——以中国日语专业大学生为对象

The influence of oral reading and silent reading on reading comprehension:An experiment to Chinese undergraduates majoring in the Japanese language

摘要 本研究以日语专业大学生为对象,利用再现法(recall method)和再认法(recognition method)探究出声读与默读对日语学习者文章理解的影响,并试图厘清该影响与学习者日语能力之间的关系。结果表明:(1)整体而言,默读比出声读更有助于文章的理解,默读条件下文章再现和再认的总体成绩更好。默读有助于主要意义单元(main ideas)和支撑性意义单元(supporting ideas)的再现以及细节信息的再认,但对主干信息再认的效果与出声读相比无显著性差异。(2)默读对于文章理解的有效性不因受试者日语能力的不同而变化。无论受试者的日语能力处在中级上位还是下位,默读都能促进文章理解。但日语能力的高低影响文章的再现,中级上位组学习者的主要意义单元和支撑性意义单元的再现数量均多于下位组学习者。 Targeted at undergraduate students majoring in the Japanese language,this study investigates the influence of oral reading versus silent reading on the Japanese reading comprehension utilizing recall and recognition methods.Additionally,it discusses whether subjects’proficiency in the Japanese language serves as one of the determinant factors.The results indicate that(1)In terms of reading comprehension,silent reading generally outperforms oral reading overall in both recall and recognition.The superiority of silent reading was admitted in both the recall of main ideas and supporting ideas;while in recognition,the effect of silent reading was only shown in detailed information.In backbone information,there was no statistical significance.(2)Subjects’Japanese language proficiency does not influence the superiority of silent reading.Whether it was the higher intermediate group or lower intermediate group,subjects did better in comprehension when reading silently.Japanese language ability only impacts the scores in recall.The higher intermediate group did better than lower intermediate group in recall of both main and supporting ideas.
