摘要
本文基于中国服务业入世承诺,结合地区投入产出表、城市开放年龄和服务贸易限制指数,构建了中国行业、城市和时间三个维度的服务业开放指标。利用中国家庭收入调查(CHIP)的个体微观数据,以明瑟工资方程为基础,实证检验了中国服务业开放对性别工资差距的影响。研究结果表明:中国服务业开放扩大了性别工资差距,且主要通过技术溢出、文化溢出以及竞争效应这三种机制,拉大了中高技能劳动力、国有企业和私营企业劳动力以及农业、工业和服务业的性别工资差距。
This paper examed the impact of China’s services trade liberalization on gender wage gap.According to the characteristics of the geographical timetable for China’s service industry on the WTO accession commitment and China’s regional input-output table,China’s services trade liberalization was firstly measured from three dimensions of industry,city and year.Then using individual level data from China Household Income Project(CHIP)and Mincer Wage Equation,the empirical research finds that services trade liberalization has widened the gender wage gap,which is mainly through three mechanisms:technology spillover,culture spillover and competition effects,and widened the gender wage gap in the middle-and high-skilled labor,for state-owned and private enterprises,and agriculture,industrial and service sectors.
