摘要
通识教育是相对于专业教育而言的概念,是旨在推动学生在人文、社科、文化、艺术和自然科学等方面知识与能力的教育,是学生进行专业教育应具备的综合素质和知识储备,属于基本素质与能力培养范畴。我国高校对通识教育的探索从未停息,但民办高校对通识教育的研究与实践则比较少。该文以绵阳城市学院通识教育为研究对象,分析其在通识教育改革方面的有益经验,对民办高校实施通识教育具有重要的参考价值。
General education is a concept relative to professional education.It aims to promote students’knowledge and ability in humanities,social science,culture,art and natural science.It is the comprehensive quality and knowledge store that students should have for professional education,and belongs to the category of basic quality and ability cultivation.The exploration of general education in Chinese colleges and universities has never stopped,but the research and practice of general education in private colleges and universities are relatively little.This paper takes the general education of Mianyang City University as the research object and analyzes its beneficial experience in the reform of general education,which has important reference value for the implementation of general education in private colleges and universities.
