摘要
高等教育研究面临的质疑与发展瓶颈或可视为由当前的内生困境所引发,即与同质化的后期(成熟)工业社会高等教育系统相伴而生的理论体系(概念),难以适配异质化的后工业社会高等教育。这一适配性问题容易引发抽象概念的误用,致使对基本事实界定的失准,继而导致研究问题与客观事实的错位和学科的形而上学化。面对异质化的后工业社会高等教育,研究者或需经历从建构者、引导者到观察者、解释者的自我革新。对于后发国家而言,本土实践的非西方属性亦需加以考量。
Existing challenges and the development bottleneck faced by higher education(HE)researchers may be caused by an endogenous dilemma,that is,the theories(conceptual tools)constructed for analyzing the homogeneous HE systems in mature industrial societies can hardly explain the heterogeneity of HE systems in post-industrial societies.The lack of compatibility between the two leads to the misuse of concepts and the inaccuracy of the definition of basic facts.This may lead to misalignment of research questions with objective reality and metaphysicalization of the discipline.Therefore,researchers may need to experience self-innovation,transforming from constructors to observers and interpreters.For researchers in latecomer countries,non-Western nature of local practices also needs to be considered.
