摘要
高等教育自学考试可谓是20世纪七十年代以来一项伟大的创新,发展到今天已有四十余年。它从最开始的小规模到不断发展壮大,不断适应社会的进步要求,现如今已取得不小的成就。但是高等教育自学考试在面对高等教育改革时,还存在一些机遇与挑战,例如目前高等教育自学考试在内部招生、考试、管理都遇到了问题,在外部也受到了社会价值观念、高考扩招、网络学习等因素的影响冲击,所以高等教育自学考试要想在新时代释放更多的活力,需要积极应对自身的弊端,始终坚持终身教育的理念才能够向着更高的方向发展。
Self-Taught Higher Education Examinations(STHEE),a great innovation since the1970s,has enjoyed a history of more than 40 years.With its continuous development and constant adaption to the social progress,and growing acceptance by greater number of people,this examination has made brilliant achievements since its appearance.However,in the face of higher education reform,self-taught higher education examinationfinds both opportunities and challenges.For example,the current challenges come from both inside and outside,such as internal problems of admission,examination and administration,and external impacts such as diversified social values,gaokao expansion and online learning,etc.In this case,self-taught higher education examination is supposed to actively deal with its own shortcomings,and put great efforts to help people hold a view of lifelong learning as well.
