After combing the data of ancient documents and portraits, this paper finds that the dragon images in the Han dynasty have obvious space location properties, which can be divided into ground or underground dragon, sky dragon and heaven dragon. There may be functional interworking among the dragons in each space segment, but it has a specific implication in a specific environment. The earth or ground dragon for the human protection of the divine dragon, the dragon of the sky is usually ascended to the divine riding, heaven dragon with god riding or the implication of the stars. The same is true of the dragon depicted in the silk painting unearthed from Han Tomb No.1 at Mawangdui. The red dragon in the lower part is the god dragon of blessing on the ground or underground, the blue white dragon is the god riding of ascension in the sky,and the blue white dragon on the left side of the upper part is the God riding in Heaven, and the white dragon on the right is the Cang dragon star sign.
