摘要
系统考察劳动力要素价格变动对企业创新的影响,既有利于深入揭示经济动能转换背后企业创新形成的条件,又有助于明确劳动力要素价格影响企业创新背后的深层原因。本文阐述了劳动力价格变动影响创新驱动发展理论机制,认为劳动力要素价格上涨主要通过要素替代效应、竞争效应、需求效应,推动创新能力提升。基于此,本文运用37个中国工业行业面板数据,通过工具变量回归以及动态面板模型实证研究劳动力价格上涨对工业创新能力的影响。研究发现:劳动力价格的上涨有效推动了各工业行业创新能力的提升;同时发现,外商直接投资比率与人均资本存量的提升对行业创新能力的提高也具有显著促进作用。
A systematic examination of the impact of changes in labor factor prices on corporate innovation is not only conducive to revealing the conditions for the formation of corporate innovations but also to clarify the reasons behind the impact of labor factor prices.This article elaborates the labor price changes affect innovation-driven development,and argues that the increase in labor factor prices mainly promotes innovation capacity through factor substitution effects,competition effects,and demand effects.Based on this,this paper uses panel data from 37 Chinese industrial industries to study the impact of rising labor prices on industrial innovation capabilities.The study found that the increase in labor prices has effectively promoted the improvement of innovation capabilities in various industrial industries;besides,the increase in foreign direct investment ratios and per capita capital stock have also significantly promoted the improvement of industry innovation capabilities.
