摘要
文章在形象学理论的指导下考察研究《黑玫瑰》李尧汉译本注释中对原著文化形象的改变,并就译注的文化功能进行相关解读。通过注释形象分析,文章发现译者强化了“被推上断头台的国王”及“丑陋的上流社会人士”两类异域他者形象;重塑出符合目标语文化期待的自我形象,展现出译者“去异域化的文化回归”与“去小说化的史学自觉”;注释所建构的双重文化形象具有文化解释、文化传播、文化拓展三方面功能。文章通过研究译本注释的表现及功能,拓宽了翻译与文化形象的跨界研究,以此进一步反向探索文化形象建构对于中国文学“走出去”的意义。
Under the guidance of the theory of imagology,this paper studies the cultural image changes and interprets the cultural function of Li Yao’s annotations of The Rose Crossing.Through the analysis of the annotated images,this paper finds that the translator has strengthened two images of the Other,namely“the King Guillotined”and“the ugly upper class”.The annotations also have reshaped the self-image in line with the cultural expectation of the target language context,and demonstrated the translator’s“cultural return of de-foreignization”and“historical consciousness of de-fiction”.The dual cultural images constructed by the annotation have three functions:cultural explanation,cultural dissemination,and cultural expansion.By studying the expression and function of the translation annotation,this paper expands the trans-boundary study of translation and cultural image,so as to further reversely explore the significance of the construction of cultural image for the Chinese literature“going globally”.
