摘要
西方自进入后现代思想发展阶段以来,地理空间转向(Geospatial Turn)成为西方理论界学术思想发展的一大主潮,以文学、艺术为主要研究对象的文学研究、文化研究乃至美学研究等也不可避免地受其深刻影响,发生了地理空间转向(Geospatial Turn),形成了地理空间批评(Geospatial criticism)的谱系。相较而言,"空间转向"(Spatial Turn)、"空间批评"(Spatial criticism)的命名则在一定程度上遮蔽了晚近西学思潮本有的文化语境,淡化了人文地理学(包括文化地理学)、批判人文地理学(新马克思主义历史地理唯物主义或称"新文化地理学")、无政府主义地理学对晚近西学思潮的重要影响,在一定程度上,造成了对晚近西学思潮整体特征的遮蔽和对晚近西学思潮学术术语描述的失之偏颇。因此,有必要回到晚近西学思潮发生的文化语境,厘清地理空间转向(Geospatial Turn)背景下地理空间批评(Geospatial criticism)的谱系,以期对学界所使用的晚近西学思潮理论术语描述进行理论校正,使其更加精准、全面。同时,晚近西学思潮学术术语描述命名校正——地理空间转向(Geospatial Turn)和地理空间批评(Geospatial criticism)具有重要的理论意义。
Since the development of postmodernism in the West,geospatial turn has become a major trend in Western academic thought.Literary,cultural,and even aesthetic studies taking literature and art as their main object of study,are inevitably profoundly influenced by it.It appeared that geospatial turn has formeda new category of geospatial criticism.In contrast,the terminology of spatial turn and spatial criticism has in recent years to some extent overwhelmed the original cultural context of Western thought,diluting the influence on Western thought of human geography(including cultural geography),critical human geography(new Marxism’s historical geography materialism or new cultural geography),and anarchism geography.To a certain extent,it has resulted in obscuring the overall characteristics of late-western thought and its bias in the description of the academic terms.Therefore,it is necessary to return to the cultural context of late-Western thought in order to clarify the genealogy of geospatial criticism in the context of geospatial turn.This is done with a hope of correcting the use of terms in Western academic circles and making it more accurate and comprehensive.
