摘要
随着视觉文化和图像批评的盛行,文学图像学理论建设和批评实践的展开,各种《红楼梦》插图、册页等图像资料成为学界关注的重要内容,极大地丰富了人们对《红楼梦》及其图像资料的认识和理解。曹雪芹祖辈及其本人与石涛、禹之鼎、张纯修、陈本敬等画家的交游情况,得到了细致的梳理,对我们认识曹雪芹绘画才能的形成亦有重要帮助;对《百美图》《汉宫春晓图》《雍正妃画像》《雪艳图》等明清人物画和宫廷绘画的研究,为我们认识《红楼梦》中诗意化的场景、情节的来源提供了新的图像证据;清皇室和贵族阶层对西方幻视绘画的重视与实践,也为我们理解《红楼梦》以"全书只演凹凸二义"为主要特征的视觉语法和"真—假"主题的形成提供了新材料。曹雪芹对如此众多视觉材料的使用,形成了《红楼梦》文本独特的美学特点。
With the prevalence of visual culture and image criticism,the construction of literary iconology theory and the development of critical practice,various Dream of Red Mansions illustrations,albums and other image materials have become important contents of academic attention,which has greatly enriched people’s understanding of Dream of Red Mansions and its image materials.A careful review of the interactions between Cao Xueqin’s ancestors and himself and Shi Tao,Yu Zhiding,Zhang Chunxiu,Chen Benjing and other painters will help us to understand the formation of Cao Xueqin’s painting talents.The research on figure paintings and court paintings of Ming and Qing Dynasties,such as Hundreds Beauties,Han Palace Spring Dawn,Portrait of Yongzheng Concubines,Painting named Xueyan,provides us with new image evidence of the source of the poetic scenes and plots in Dream of Red Mansions.The emphasis and practice of the Manchu royal family and aristocracy on western phantom painting also provided us with new materials for understanding the visual grammar of Dream of Red Mansions with the whole book only showing the concavity and convexity as the main feature and the formation of the theme of true-false.Cao Xueqin’s use of so many visual materials has formed the unique aesthetic characteristics of the text of Dream of Red Mansions.
