摘要
本文采用自建语料库的方法,以理工科和文科各三个学科英语学术论文引言中出现的不同功能的词块为研究对象,对比分析不同学科之间使用不同功能词块的频次,着重考察各语步中词块运用的一般规律及对撰写英语学术论文的影响。结果表明:理工科英语学术论文引言部分的研究导向词块比例明显高于文科,而文科的文本导向词块和参与者导向词块比例高于理工科。在具体的每一个语步中,理工科英语学术论文的语步1("确定研究范围")中多用研究导向词块,而文科的语步3("占据该空间")中多用文本导向词块和参与者导向词块。该研究结果为不同学科英语学术论文引言部分的写作提供启示。
This paper adopts the method of self-built corpus,taking the lexical bundles with different functions as the research objects(in introductions of English academic papers in every three disciplines of science and engineering and the liberal arts).And it analyzes the differences and similarities among different disciplines of the frequency of using lexical bundles with different functions.And this paper especially focuses on the general rules of the use of lexical bundles in different moves and its influence on how to properly write English academic papers.The results show that the proportion of research-oriented lexical bundles in English academic papers introductions of science and engineering is significantly higher than that in liberal arts,while the proportion of text-oriented lexical bundles and participant-oriented lexical bundles in liberal arts is higher than that in science and engineering.In each specific move,we can also see that in move 1(Establishing a territory),the introductions of English academic papers of science and engineering use more researchoriented lexical bundles,and in move 3(Occupying a niche),the introductions of English academic papers of liberal arts use more text-oriented and participant-oriented lexical bundles.The findings of this study provide enlightenment for the proper writing of English academic papers in different disciplines.
