摘要
亿万年的时间里,噬菌体与细菌之间不断进行着攻击-防御-反击的战斗。细菌为保护自己免受噬菌体的入侵,进化出一系列复杂的防御系统。细菌防御系统的发现和对其分子机制的深入研究,推动了重要的生物学工具的发展,甚至整个生命科学领域革命性的进步。本文总结了细菌抗噬菌体感染的防御手段,并对其分子机制的研究进展做了简要综述。
In the intense arms race between bacteria and phages,bacteria have evolved diverse and sophisticated immune mechanisms to protect themselves from phage invasion.The discovery and in-depth studies of bacterial antiphage defense systems have contributed to the development of useful biotechnology tools and even revolutionized advances in life science.Here we summarize the spectrum of antiphage defense systems in bacteria and briefly review the research progress of their molecular mechanisms.
