Speaking to the Computer:The Roles of Generative Artificial Intelligence and the Human in Journalistic Activities

摘要从附属到共生的人机关系见证着人工智能的拟人化以及人类的拟物化。在智能新闻活动中,作为协同行动者的人工智能扮演着通用工作者、信息代理人、社区参与者的拟人角色,在原始信息与新闻作品之间、认知需求与事实信息之间、社群互动与媒体权威之间发挥着中介作用。与之对应的是更拟物的人类新闻工作者,他们在整个智能新闻系统中承担着数据转化、数据优化、数据把关的责任。人类工作者越来越多地以数据化、可计算为底层逻辑,将原本外在于智能系统的人类经验转化为可供分析和模仿的数据来源,促进智能新闻的生产—消费—再生产循环。尽管生成式人工智能扮演着社会活动的行动者、中介者角色,人类仍然是新闻生产传播中的知识创造者和责任终极主体,是本质上能够突破既有知识边界、承担社会责任与法律责任的主体。因此,对机言说的主体始终是人。人机对话虽然在实务层面展现出一定的协调效果,但其失败和断裂之处反而展现出人类的独特性。 In the realm of intelligent journalism,artificial intelligence,as a collaborative actor,assumes anthropomorphic roles such as a general worker,information agent,and community participant,acting as an intermediary between raw information and journalistic productions,cognitive demands and factual information,as well as community interactions and media authority.Correspondingly,human journalists take on a more computer-like role within the entire intelligent journalism system,shouldering responsibilities for data transformation,data optimization,and data gate keeping.Human workers are increasingly guided by data-driven and computable logic,transforming human experiences that were originally external to the intelligent system into sources of data for analysis and imitation,thereby facilitating the production-consumption-reproduction cycle of intelligent journalism.Despite generative artificial intelligence playing the role of an actor and intermediary in social activities,humans remain as the creators of knowledge and the ultimate bearers of responsibility in news production and dissemination.Humans are fundamentally capable of breaking through existing knowledge boundaries and assuming social and legal responsibilities.Therefore,the subject of speaking to computer is always human.While human-computer dialogues may demonstrate certain coordination effects at the practical level,the failures and ruptures in these dialogues,in fact,highlight the uniqueness of human beings.
