摘要
商务英语阅读课程引入BOPPPS教学模式,能够极大提升有效教学。本文以某商务英语阅读教材中"A Surge in Online Ads"一课为例,分析BOPPPS六步教学法在实际授课中的应用,发现此教学法能达到调动兴趣、明确目标、心中有数、激发兴趣、检查成效、承前启后的课堂教学效果。应鼓励学生开展商务英语拓展阅读训练,提高其商务英语综合阅读技能和跨文化交际能力。
The introduction of teaching mode of"Bridge-in,Objective/Outcome,Pre-assessment,Participatory Learning,Post-assessment,Summary(BOPPPS)"into Business English reading course can greatly improve teaching effectiveness.Taking the text"A Surge in Online Ads"in newlycompiled Business Reading Course 2 as an example,the paper analyzes the application of sixprocedure teaching mode in BOPPPS,attempting to reach the classroom teaching purpose of drawing attention,clarifying objectives,familiarizing with each other,arousing interest,checking effects and making summaries.Meanwhile,students should be encouraged to carry out expanded reading training of Business English while taking advantage of big data.In this way,students’comprehensive Business English reading skills and cross-cultural communication ability can be enhanced accordingly.
