摘要
开放式创新背景下,国际化战略是企业实现创新突破的重要手段。但现有研究对不同战略模式下企业的国际化行为对创新绩效的影响关注较少。在剖析企业国际化战略的不同维度的基础上,探索企业国际化范围、国际化速度及国际化节奏对创新绩效的影响,并引入动态能力理论揭示企业动态能力在国际化战略影响创新绩效中的调节作用,拓展国际化战略决策经济后果及创新驱动因素的理论研究。以2010—2019年高技术上市公司为研究样本进行的实证检验发现:企业国际化范围与创新绩效之间呈非线性的“U型”关系;国际化速度与创新绩效之间呈非线性的倒“U型”关系;国际化节奏则与创新绩效线性负相关;企业动态能力正向调节国际化战略(包括范围、速度和节奏)与创新绩效之间的关系。研究结论不仅对我国企业实施国际化战略具有直接的指导意义,而且有助于为企业国际化战略选择及企业创新活动提供更好的理论解释。
Under the background of open innovation,internationalization strategy is an important tool for enterprises to achieve innovation breakthroughs.However,existing studies have not focused on the influence of the internationalization behavior of enterprises behavior on innovation performance under different strategic models.The paper explores the influence of the scope,speed and rhythm of internationalization on innovation performance from the different dimensions of corporate internationalization strategy,and introduces dynamic capability theory to reveal the moderating role of firms’dynamic capabilities in internationalization strategies affecting innovation performance,expanding the theoretical study of the economic consequences of international strategic decision-making and driving factors of innovation.The empirical test is conducted using the high-technology listed companies from 2010 to 2019 as the research sample,and found that there is a non-linear“U-shaped”relationship between the scope of internationalization and innovation performance to the enterprises;a non-linear inverse“U-shaped”relationship between the speed of internationalization and innovation performance to the company.The rhythm of internationalization is linearly and negatively related to innovation performance.At the same time,firms dynamic capabilities positively regulate the relationship between internationalization strategies(scope,speed and rhythm)and innovation performance.These research conclusions not only provide direct guidance to Chinese enterprises in implementing internationalization strategies,but also help to provide better theoretical explanations for corporate internationalization strategy selection and innovation activities.
