摘要
康熙朝葡萄牙进贡清廷活狮是彼时中葡关系的一件大事,在京的耶稣会士利类思采集西文书籍编译《狮子说》一文刊印行世。关于《狮子说》的底本70余年来中外学者已多次讨论,但仍众说纷纭。笔者经过梳理,确认惠泽霖为最早论述《狮子说》底本者,对后世论者产生了深远影响。本文通过大量对比,基本否定了前说,排除其他疑似底本,为该书确定了最为接近的西文底本。
In early Qing dynasty,a significant event between China and Portugal happened,when a lion was conveyed to emperor Kangxi by the Portuguese envoy.Lodovico Buglio,a Jesuit missionary in Beijing translated and published a little book,On Lion,in order to answer the Chinese elites’inquiries.The researches on the original texts of On Lion have been undertaking for more than 70 years,but the true original(s)still appears unclear.This paper traces back to H.Verhaeren as the first scholar to involve into this topic,and his statements on it have a great influence on the following studies.After amount of comparisons,the paper rectifying the predecessors finds out the most approximate western original of it.
