摘要
近年来,美国华裔文学中的科幻作品因兼具科学性、文学性与人文关怀精神而屡获雨果奖和星云奖等国际科幻文学大奖,并成为美国华裔文学发展史上的一支新兴力量。该领域的科幻小说以其独特的华裔文化价值观视角,表达出美国华裔科幻作家对当代社会问题的关注及对人类社会未来发展的思考与忧虑,因而具有鲜明的未来主义倾向。该类型小说的科幻叙事实质上也是华裔作家在科幻文学这一话语场中对自身诉求及其文化价值观的表达。美国华裔作家在该领域构建的话语空间所表达的政治和文化诉求以及后族裔人文关怀,因具有不同文化群体直面现实困境、重新定义自我身份、消解“自我”与“他者”的二元对立、憧憬未来和谐社会而成为美国华裔文学发展的一种新趋势。
In recent years,science fiction works in Chinese American literature have won international science fiction awards such as the Hugo Awards and the Nebula Awards for their combination of scientific rigor,literary quality,and humanistic concerns,becoming a new force in the development of Chinese American literature in the United States.Through the unique perspective of Chinese cultural values,Chinese American science fiction writers express their reflections on contemporary social issues and their contemplation of the future development of human society.As a result,these works exhibit a distinct inclination towards futurism.The science fiction narratives in this genre fundamentally serve as a means for Chinese American writers to articulate their aspirations and cultural values within the discourse of science fiction literature.The discourse space constructed by Chinese American writers in this field reflects their political and cultural aspirations,as well as their humanistic concerns for post-ethnicity.By addressing the challenges faced by different cultural groups,redefining their own identities,transcending the dichotomy of"self"and"other",and envisioning a harmonious future society,they have established a new trend in the development of Chinese American literature.
