The interaction between a solute atom and an extended dislocation was investigated using a continuum approximation method with force multipoles.The dislocation core structure of extended dislocation was modeled with t...The interaction between a solute atom and an extended dislocation was investigated using a continuum approximation method with force multipoles.The dislocation core structure of extended dislocation was modeled with the Peierls-Nabarro model discretized with a number of infinitesimal Volterra dislocations.The interaction energy and force between a nickel solute atom and perfect and extended dislocation in copper were successfully calculated using the force multipoles.The results clearly show that the core structure of extended dislocation weakens the interaction with solute atoms.The interaction energy and force for extended dislocations are almost the half of those for perfect dislocations.展开更多
In order to explain the oscillation heat transfer dynamics of closed loop oscillation heat pipe (CLOHP) with two liquid slugs,analysis on the forces and heat transfer process of the partial gas-liquid phase system inv...In order to explain the oscillation heat transfer dynamics of closed loop oscillation heat pipe (CLOHP) with two liquid slugs,analysis on the forces and heat transfer process of the partial gas-liquid phase system involving multiple parameters was carried out,and a new type oscillation heat transfer dynamic model of the CLOHP was set up based on conservation laws of mass,momentum and energy.Application results indicate that its oscillation heat transfer dynamics features depend largely on the filling rate,pipe diameter and difference in temperature.Besides,oscillation intensity and transfer performance can be improved to a large extent by increasing the temperature difference properly and enlarging the pipe diameter within a certain range under a certain filling rate.展开更多
In order to build the model of the drum level wave action and sloshing, based on the method of modularization modeling, the hydrodynamic model of drum level wave action and sloshing was developed, and dynamic simulati...In order to build the model of the drum level wave action and sloshing, based on the method of modularization modeling, the hydrodynamic model of drum level wave action and sloshing was developed, and dynamic simulation researches were carried out based on the model. The results indicate that both drum level and drum length have functional relations with period of drum level wave action and sloshing. When the drum level decreases or drum length increases, the period of drum level wave action and sloshing increases, density of liquid and number of sub-module division have little influence on the period of drum level wave action and sloshing. The model was validated by the analytical solution theory of liquid’s wave action and sloshing in cuboid container, and the 3D graphics of drum level wave action and sloshing was also obtained. The model can dynamically reflect the rules of wave action and sloshing of water in the container exactly.展开更多
