Then, supramolecular-structured hydrogels were prepared from t...In this paper, the polypseudorotaxanes were synthesized from α-cyclodextrins(α-CDs) threaded onto PCL-PEG-PCL macromers terminated with acrylate groups. Then, supramolecular-structured hydrogels were prepared from the polyseudorotaxanes in a mixed solvent of H 2O and DMSO via in-situ polymerization photoinitiated under UV. The structure and properties of the supramolecular-structured hydrogels were characterized by FTIR, TGA and WAXD. The results showed that α-CDs were threaded and immobilized on the network of the hydrogel by rapid photopolymerization, and the feed ratio of α-CDs affected the structure of hydrogels, water absorption, the distribution and states of water, etc..展开更多
Novel water-soluble amphiphilic ternary graft copolymers(COS-g-PCL-b-MPEG) were synthesized by N,N′-dicyclohexyl carbodiimide(DCC) coupling reaction between chitooligosaccharide(COS) with MPEG-b-PCL-COOH,which was sy...Novel water-soluble amphiphilic ternary graft copolymers(COS-g-PCL-b-MPEG) were synthesized by N,N′-dicyclohexyl carbodiimide(DCC) coupling reaction between chitooligosaccharide(COS) with MPEG-b-PCL-COOH,which was synthesized via ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone(CL) with methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)(MPEG) as an initiator and subsequent carboxylation by succinic anhydride.The che-mical composition of the graft copolymers was studied by 1H NMR spectrum.In aqueous solutions,stable supramolecular hydrogels could be rapidly fabricated via the inclusion compound between the MPEG-b-PCL graft of COS derivates and α-CD.The supramolecular structure of the hydrogels was revealed by WXRD analysis.The temperature sweep test results show that no gel-sol transition temperature appears over the range from 20 ℃ to 60 ℃ for the obtained hydrogels.展开更多
A building unit(defined as SBU) synthesized from 1,2,4,5-benzene tetracarboxylic acid and 4-hydroxy pyridine was used as the gelator with low molecular weight to form supramolecular hydrogels at various concentrations...A building unit(defined as SBU) synthesized from 1,2,4,5-benzene tetracarboxylic acid and 4-hydroxy pyridine was used as the gelator with low molecular weight to form supramolecular hydrogels at various concentrations.The dried hydrogels(xerogels) were observed by scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results indicate that the xerogels possess network structures composing of intertwined fibers and the dimension of the fibers can be regulated by the concentration of SBU.Powder X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis indicates that the fibers are connected by SBU building units.The reversible sol-gel transition of the supramolecular system with the change of temperature was also noticed.展开更多
