A review of carbon-based hybrid materials for supercapacitors

Supercapacitors are gaining popularity due to their high cycling stability,power density,and fast charge and discharge rates.Researchers are ex-ploring electrode materials,electrolytes,and separat-ors for cost-effective energy storage systems.Ad-vances in materials science have led to the develop-ment of hybrid nanomaterials,such as combining fil-amentous carbon forms with inorganic nanoparticles,to create new charge and energy transfer processes.Notable materials for electrochemical energy-stor-age applications include MXenes,2D transition met-al carbides,and nitrides,carbon black,carbon aerogels,activated carbon,carbon nanotubes,conducting polymers,carbon fibers,and nanofibers,and graphene,because of their thermal,electrical,and mechanical properties.Carbon materials mixed with conducting polymers,ceramics,metal oxides,transition metal oxides,metal hydroxides,transition metal sulfides,trans-ition metal dichalcogenide,metal sulfides,carbides,nitrides,and biomass materials have received widespread attention due to their remarkable performance,eco-friendliness,cost-effectiveness,and renewability.This article explores the development of carbon-based hybrid materials for future supercapacitors,including electric double-layer capacitors,pseudocapacitors,and hy-brid supercapacitors.It investigates the difficulties that influence structural design,manufacturing(electrospinning,hydro-thermal/solvothermal,template-assisted synthesis,electrodeposition,electrospray,3D printing)techniques and the latest car-bon-based hybrid materials research offer practical solutions for producing high-performance,next-generation supercapacitors. 展开更多

Micro-and nano-to millimeter-scale magnetic matrix materials have gained widespread application due to their exceptional magnetic properties and favorable cost-effectiveness.With the rapid progress in condensed matter physics,materials science,and mineral separation technologies,these materials are now poised for new opportunities in theoretical research and development.This review provides a comprehensive analysis of these matrices,encompassing their structure,size,shape,composition,properties,and multifaceted applications.These materials,primarily composed of alloys of transition state metasl such as iron(Fe),cobalt(Co),titanium(Ti),and nickel(Ni),exhibit unique attributes like high magnetization rates,low eleastic modulus,and high saturation magnetic field strengths.Furthermore,the studies also delve into the complex mechanical interactions involved in the separation of magnetic particles using magnetic separator matrices,including magnetic,gravitational,centrifugal,and van der Waals forces.The review outlines how size and shape effects influence the magnetic behavior of matrices,offering new perspectives for innovative applications of magnetic matrices in various domains of materials science and magnetic separation. 展开更多

In order to investigate the physical mechanism of metal magnetic memory testing, both the influences of earth magnetic field and applied stress on magnetic domain structure were discussed. Static tension and fatigue tests for low carbon steel plate specimens were carried out on hydraulic servo testing machine of MTS810 type and magnetic signals were measured during the processes by the type of EMS-2003 instrument. The results indicate that the initial magnetic signals of specimens are different before loading. The magnetic signals curves are transformed from initial random to regular pattern due to the effect of two types of loads. However, the shape and distribution of magnetic signal curves in the elastic region are different from that of plastic region in tension test. While in fatigue test those magnetic signals curves corresponding to different cycles are similar. The H_p(y) value of magnetic signals on the fracture zone increases dramatically at the breaking transient time and positive-negative magnetic poles occur on the two parts of fracture zone. 展开更多

Some magnetocaloric materials were used successfully in magnetic refrigeration application and became one of the critical parts of magnetic refrigeration technology whose delightful progresses were made worldwide in the past 30 years. At the same time, the research on giant magnetocaloric materials will accelerate the development of room temperature magnetic refrigeration. In this paper, the new theoretical and experimental investigations on magnetic materials in room temperature application were described, including Gd and its binary and ternary intermetallic compounds, Mn-based compounds, La(Fe13-xMx)-based compounds and manganites. Based on the analysis of hysteresis, corrosion, cost and heat process, the comparison between different families of magnetic materials was discussed. Further research of room temperature magnetic refrigerant was suggested. 展开更多

The hydrogenation reaction characteristics and the properties of its hydrides for the magnetic regenerative material HoCu_2(CeCu_2-type) of a cryocooler were investigated. The XRD testing reveals that the hydrides of HoCu_2 were a mixture of Cu, unknown hydride Ⅰ, and unknown hydride Ⅱ. Based on the PCT(pressure-concentration-temperature) curves under different reaction temperatures, the relationships among reaction temperature, equilibrium pressure, and maximum hydrogen absorption capacity were analyzed and discussed. The enthalpy change ΔH and entropy change ΔS as a result of the whole hydrogenation process were also calculated from the PCT curves. The magnetization and volumetric specific heat capacity of the hydride were also measured by SQUID magnetometer and PPMS, respectively. 展开更多

The novel magnetic sepiolite/Fe_(3)O_(4)/zero-valent iron(nZVI)nanocomposite(nZVI@SepH-Mag)was prepared and used to achieve the removal of Cr(VI)in this work.The nZVI@SepH-Mag composites were characterized by XRD,FTIR,BET,SEM and TEM.The characterization results indicated that the structure of the composite consisted of small nanoscale nZVI and magnetite(Mag)particles uniformly anchoring on the surface of acid-activated sepiolite(SepH).Batch experiments were used to analyze the effects of main factors on Cr(VI)removal.A 100%removal efficiency in 60 min and enhanced reaction ratio were reached by the composite comparing other existing materials.The kinetic of the adsorption and possible Cr(VI)removal mechanism of the hybrids were also evaluated and proposed.Based on the removal products identified by Raman,XRD and XPS,a reduction mechanism was proposed.The results indicated that the SepH and Mag can inhibit the agglomeration and enhance the dispersibility of nZVI,and Mag and nZVI displayed good synergetic effects. 展开更多

Characterization and technology of fast reducing roasting for fine iron materials 被引量:15

The features of the techniques of fast reducing roasting (FRR) and conventional magnetic roasting, as well as tremendous demands of iron ores in iron and steel industry of China, were briefly described. The test equipment suitable for FRR of fine-grained materials was introduced. Weakly magnetic materials with grain size of 〈0.30 mm were converted into strongly magnetic materials by FRR for several to dozens of seconds. In a weakly reducing atmosphere and at 740-800 ~C, refractory powder iron material (〈0.30 mm) which is rich in specularite, limonite and Mg-Mn siderite was subjected to FRR for a few seconds to 60 s. Concentrate with iron grade of 55.67%-55.21%, high contents of Mg and Mn in the ore is obtained and the yield of magnetic separation reaches 81.66%-86.57%. The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and magnetism detection of the material before and after FRR indicate that weakly magnetic material is mainly converted into strongly magnetic material Fe304 with specific saturation magnetic moment. The efficiency of FRR is consistent with TFe recovery of magnetic separation; meantime, the specific sa^u'ation magnetic moment increases from 33 to 42 times after FRR. Calculations show that speeds of flash magnetic roasting are obtained from several dozen to two or three hundred times, compared with rotary kiln or shaft furnace. This indicates that it is practicable to use the fast reducing roasting technique to improve the comprehensive utilization of iron ore resources. 展开更多

Magnetic liquid can produce alternative internal pressure under the alternative high-frequency gradient magnetic field.Because it has higher bulk modulus,the internal pressure results in its volume change.Using piezoelectric transducers,the ultrasonic wave generated by the vibration of magnetic liquids can be detected,which shows that the magnetic liquids have the magnetostrictive effect and can generate the ultrasonic vibration under the alternative magnetic gradient field.Some nonmagnetic abrasives and rust-proofing agents can be mixed into the magnetic liquids,under the alternative magnetic field,the abrasives held by magnetic liquids grind the surface of the workpieces,and thus,the finishing for the surface with complex shape,mold cavity and inner wall of tiny tubes can be realized. 展开更多

An ultrawideband reflectionless metamaterial absorber(MA)is proposed by replacing the metallic ground with the complementary split-ring resonator(CSRR)structure.The proposed MA exhibits-10 d B reflectivity spectrum from 1 GHz to 20 GHz,which maintains more than 90%absorption from 1.5 GHz to20 GHz.Furthermore,it achieves angle stability for TE and TM polarization at oblique incident angles up to 40°and 65°,respectively.To achieve broadband absorption spectrum,we have adopted a single-layer high-impedance surface(HIS)loaded with a double-layer magnetic material(MM)structure.To further realize the RCS reduction into a lower frequency range,we have employed the scattering cancellation technology into the traditional metallic ground.Finally,we have fabricated a sample exhibiting the 10 d B RCS reduction from 1 GHz to 20 GHz with a thickness of 10 mm.Measurement and simulation results confirm that the proposed MA exhibits excellent comprehensive performance,making it suitable for many practical applications. 展开更多

Fe-Ni-Y2O3 nanocomposites with uniform distribution of fine oxide particles in the gamma Fe Ni matrix were successfully fabricated via solution combustion followed by hydrogen reduction. The morphological characteristics and phase transformation of the combusted powder and the Fe-Ni-Y2O3 nanocomposites were characterized by XRD, FESEM and TEM.Porous Fe-Ni-Y2O3 nanocomposites with crystallite size below 100 nm were obtained after reduction. The morphology, phases and magnetic property of Fe-Ni-Y2O3 nanocomposites reduced at different temperatures were investigated. The Fe-Ni-Y2O3 nanocomposite reduced at 900 °C has the maximum saturation magnetization and the minimum coercivity values of 167.41 A/(m2·kg)and 3.11 k A/m, respectively. 展开更多

原始J-A(Jiles-Atherton)模型及其现有改进模型均不能准确模拟软磁材料在非正弦激励下含偏置小磁滞回环的复杂磁滞回线,因此,提出一种通用改进J-A模型已成为国际电磁场领域研究的热点与难点。为此,该文首先分析J-A模型不能准确模拟不同... 原始J-A(Jiles-Atherton)模型及其现有改进模型均不能准确模拟软磁材料在非正弦激励下含偏置小磁滞回环的复杂磁滞回线,因此,提出一种通用改进J-A模型已成为国际电磁场领域研究的热点与难点。为此,该文首先分析J-A模型不能准确模拟不同类型磁滞回环的问题,得到其根本原因为J-A模型中的不可逆磁化分量变化率未进行矫正,由此引入2个比例因子,控制其不可逆磁化分量满足要求;其次,发现J-A模型的钉扎系数和磁畴内耦合平均场参数随磁滞回线磁密幅值大小而变化,进一步提出改进J-A模型;另外,提出该改进模型参数的更新方法,弥补了传统方法须预知磁滞回线下一转折点数据的缺陷,需要指出的是,所提改进J-A模型所有参数通过实测对称磁滞回线即可辨识;最后,利用所提改进J-A模型与现有2种改进J-A模型分别模拟软磁材料在不同磁密下的对称磁滞回线与含偏置小回环的复杂磁滞回线,并对比实测值,验证所提改进J-A模型具有更高精度。 展开更多

以磁性纳米Fe 3O 4和磷酸盐为主要原料,制备出超顺磁性纳米功能材料[magnetic nano-Fe 3O 4@Ca(H 2PO 4)2 functionalized materials,MFC],利用MFC对镉污染稻田进行大田原位磁选修复后进行水稻栽培试验,研究MFC磁选修复镉污染稻田对水... 以磁性纳米Fe 3O 4和磷酸盐为主要原料,制备出超顺磁性纳米功能材料[magnetic nano-Fe 3O 4@Ca(H 2PO 4)2 functionalized materials,MFC],利用MFC对镉污染稻田进行大田原位磁选修复后进行水稻栽培试验,研究MFC磁选修复镉污染稻田对水稻不同生育期土壤微生物群落组成和土壤酶活性的影响。结果表明:施加MFC修复镉污染稻田,可有效降低土壤总镉和有效镉含量,投加0.5%和1.0%MFC,土壤总镉分别降低22.14%和24.08%,有效镉分别降低2.29%和12.21%;施加MFC的处理组,3个时期的土壤Shannon指数与Chao1指数均高于该时期对照组,表明提高了水稻生长期土壤细菌群落多样性和丰富度;与对照组相比,抽穗期处理组土壤的Ascomycota丰度占比提升,成熟期处理组土壤的Rozellomycota丰度占比提升,差异有统计学意义(p<0.05),表明提高了水稻拔节期和成熟期土壤真菌群落的多样性和丰富度。同时,提高了水稻生长期土壤脲酶、脱氢酶活性,其中,成熟期Y-0.5%处理组的土壤脲酶活性提升达到55.40%,抽穗期和成熟期Y-0.5%处理组的土壤脱氢酶活性分别提高了44.40%和37.21%,差异有统计学意义(p<0.05),而土壤过氧化氢酶的活性降低。 展开更多

碳纤维增强热塑性复合材料(carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite,CFRTP)凭借其比强度高、韧性强、可焊接,被广泛应用于航空航天领域;感应焊接是其构件制造的关键工艺,然而,感应焊接过程中多场高度复杂耦合,其演化及分布特... 碳纤维增强热塑性复合材料(carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite,CFRTP)凭借其比强度高、韧性强、可焊接,被广泛应用于航空航天领域;感应焊接是其构件制造的关键工艺,然而,感应焊接过程中多场高度复杂耦合,其演化及分布特征尚不明晰,制约了构件的高效高质量生产。本研究通过耦合求解麦克斯韦方程组、傅里叶传热方程及弹塑性本构方程,构建CFRTP蒙皮桁条构件感应焊接过程磁-热-力耦合仿真模型,研究焊接过程磁、热及力的分布与演化特征。结果表明:在交变电磁场作用下,构件边缘区域磁场强度达1.45mT,模拟所得磁场、温度场与应力场均存在显著边缘效应,焊接过程界面温度可超500℃,该现象与高频涡流引起的趋肤效应密切相关;焊接过程中蒙皮底部两侧存在非对称、近半椭圆状的高温区域,且靠近立桁区域的温度显著高于远离立桁区域的温度;当电流频率从150 kHz增加至250 kHz,焊件上应力最大值从637 MPa增加至778 MPa,焊接界面处的非对称应力集中区域不断扩大;焊接过程温度场及焊后应力测量结果与模拟结果高度吻合,这有效验证所构建模型的准确性和适用性,本研究为CFRTP复杂构件感应焊接的工艺优化与质量控制提供了理论支撑。 展开更多

在无损检测(NDT)领域,对于模拟工具能够预测磁性特征、增进理解并避免苛刻和不确定的实验预期的需求日益增长。由于高灵敏度和无损的特点,磁巴克豪森噪声(MBN)的测量与模拟已成为无损检测中的重要手段。现有的机械应力下的MBN模型虽然... 在无损检测(NDT)领域,对于模拟工具能够预测磁性特征、增进理解并避免苛刻和不确定的实验预期的需求日益增长。由于高灵敏度和无损的特点,磁巴克豪森噪声(MBN)的测量与模拟已成为无损检测中的重要手段。现有的机械应力下的MBN模型虽然可以模拟MBN信号以及MBN特征值,但它们都无法全面而精确地模拟不同软磁材料在应力下的MBN信号。为此,该文首先基于改进的S-J-A磁滞模型,考虑磁各向异性、模型参数与应力之间的关系,模拟了软磁材料的不可逆磁滞回线;其次,将软磁材料的不可逆磁滞回线与MBN包络线相联系,得到磁巴克豪森噪声(MBN)的包络曲线的数学模型;然后,用包络曲线调制1~50 kHz的白噪声,模拟得到MBN信号;最后,以取向电工钢片(30QG120)、无取向硅钢(35WW230)和非晶合金(1K101)三种不同的软磁材料为研究对象,利用提出的MBN模型在不同的机械应力条件下进行MBN的模拟。通过将实验数据和现有模型进行对比,验证了所提出模型的精确性和可靠性。 展开更多
