With the performance evaluation theory,the performance evaluation model of waste collection and transportation system was constructed,which quantified the grading standard of index and determined the index weight in analytic hierarchy process (AHP). After evaluating the waste collection and transportation system of the main districts of Chongqing city,the results show that the it has an excellent performance evaluation grade with very high performance level of three indices involving evaluation of management and society,environmental impact assessment,evaluation of security and emergency and quite low performance level of two indices that include high efficient evaluation and economic evaluation.展开更多

In current scenario, t...The present study was conducted in four districts of Punjab Province to examine the attitude of milk producers and milk collection agents toward compliance of milk quality and safety parameters. In current scenario, the attitude of consumers for safe food in accordance to quality standards is ever increasing. The dairy industry in Pakistan is confronting many challenges to adapt these food safety and quality measures. This study was purposely conducted in the south region of Punjab Province, as this region has rich population of livestock and milk production. To collect essential data, field study was carded out in selected four districts of Punjab Province. Field survey for dairy farmers and milk collection centers was performed in two phases. The analysis of primary data was carried out by calculating the Likert scale mean value, analysis of variance (one-way) and other descriptive statistics tools. The results showed that 76.4% milk producers had no awareness about Punjab food quality laws; as Likert-scale mean value was 1.93. The compliance level for the management practices such as Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Point (HCCAP), Good Animal Practices (GAP) and Good Veterinary Practices (GVP) etc. was also very poor. Approximately, 32.57% milk collectors (very frequently) applied milk quality testing parameters whereas 50.72% milk collectors merely used sensory quality inspection methods at the time of milk purchase from dairy farmers. For a sustainable supply of good quality raw milk to the dairy industry in Pakistan, it was recommended that the departments for hygiene and food inspection should be vigilant. The prescribed food safety laws relating to milk production and marketing activities should be enforced properly to improve the situation.展开更多

Rural vitalization is a major strategy for reform and development of agriculture and rural areas in China,the key task of which is improving rural living environment.Imperfect rural solid waste(RSW)collection and tran...Rural vitalization is a major strategy for reform and development of agriculture and rural areas in China,the key task of which is improving rural living environment.Imperfect rural solid waste(RSW)collection and transportation system exacerbates the pollution of RSW to rural living environment,while it has not been established and improved in the cold region of Northern China due to climate and economy.Through the analysis of the current situation of RSW source separation,collection,transportation and disposal in China,an RSW collection and transportation system suitable for the northern cold region was developed.Considering the low winter temperature in the northern cold region,different requirements for RSW collection,transportation and terminal disposal,scattered source points and single terminal disposal nodes in rural areas,the study focused on determining the number and location of transfer stations,established a model for transfer stations selection and RSW collection and transportation routes optimization for RSW collection and transportation system,and proposed the elite retention particle swarm optimization–genetic algorithm(ERPSO–GA).The rural area of Baiquan County was taken as a representative case,the collection and transportation scheme of which was given,and the feasibility of the scheme was clarified by simulation experiment.展开更多
This paper considers a time-constrained data collection problem from a network of ground sensors located on uneven terrain by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV),a typical Unmanned Aerial System(UAS).The ground sensors ha...This paper considers a time-constrained data collection problem from a network of ground sensors located on uneven terrain by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV),a typical Unmanned Aerial System(UAS).The ground sensors harvest renewable energy and are equipped with batteries and data buffers.The ground sensor model takes into account sensor data buffer and battery limitations.An asymptotically globally optimal method of joint UAV 3D trajectory optimization and data transmission schedule is developed.The developed method maximizes the amount of data transmitted to the UAV without losses and too long delays and minimizes the propulsion energy of the UAV.The developed algorithm of optimal trajectory optimization and transmission scheduling is based on dynamic programming.Computer simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.展开更多

For isolation and screening programs...Culture collection of the Technical University of Budapest (TUB) comprises app ro x. 2800 microorganisms with special emphasis on lignocellulose degrading fungi a nd actinomycetes. For isolation and screening programs, 460 soils are stored at +5 ℃. They were collected in 58 countries, including extreme environments. There are 860 Trichoderma strains in TUB collection, representing 45 count ries and 173 soils and/or tree barks as isolation sources. Trichoderma spp . selected from soils in the tundra region (Rocky Mountains, Colorado) grow at l ow temperatures such as 5-10 ℃. These strains practically do not grow at 30 ℃ . On the contrary, many Trichoderma strains were isolated from tropical or s ubtropical soils and decaying plant materials at 35-40 ℃ in Brazil, Peru, Cost a Rica, Guatemala, Hawaii, Tanzania, Thailand and Indonesia. Trichoderma str ains tolerating limited oxygen supply were selected from river muds and sediment s. Trichoderma spp. tolerating or partially degrading 2,4-dichlorophenol a nd 2,4,6-trichlorophenol in 20 mg/kg concentration were selected from polluted soils. As a part of an attempt to assess the global biodiversity of Trichoderma, researchers of Technical University of Vienna and Agriculture Canada, in collab oration with TUB collection, identified and characterized seven new assumed taxa of Trichoderma from Eurasia.展开更多
