目的论视角下的英文食品说明书汉译研究

摘要 在全球食品贸易深度发展的背景下,食品贸易已成为国际贸易的重要组成部分之一。英文食品说明书的翻译质量直接影响消费者的消费决策与产品市场表现,同时英文食品说明书的汉译质量直接关乎中国消费者的健康安全,因此对于英文食品说明书翻译的监督和研究变得越来越重要。本研究以翻译目的论为理论框架,通过分析目的论中目的性、连贯性、忠实性三原则对英文食品说明书汉译的指导作用,并结合具体实例和具体的翻译技巧进行分析,以期为相关翻译实践提供参照,提高翻译文本的有效性和传播效能,为消费者提供食品消费决策支持。 With the deepening of global food trade, food trade has become a significant part of international commerce. The quality of translating English food product instructions directly impacts consumer decision-making and product market performance. Meanwhile, the quality of Chinese translation bears significant implications for Chinese consumers’ health safety. Therefore, supervision and research into the translation of English food product instructions have become more important. This paper adopts Skopos Theory as its theoretical framework. By analyzing the guiding function of its three core rules—skopos rule, coherence rule, and fidelity rule—in the Chinese translation of English food product instructions, and by combining case studies with translation techniques for analysis, it aims to provide practical references for relevant translation practice, enhance the effectiveness and communicative efficacy of translated texts, and provide consumers with support for food consumption decisions.
