摘要
本研究针对汉语词汇“老根”的词义变迁展开探讨,运用文献研究法,依据丰富的语料考察其演变历程。“老根”起初用以表示植物根系,随着社会的发展,其含义逐步扩展。唐宋时期,“老根”的词义转变初现端倪;明清时期,在通俗文学的推动下,“老根”初步产生指称有资历之人的非植物义;到了近现代,由于社会变革与文化融合,“老根”的非植物义在文化、经济、方言等诸多领域被广泛应用。This study explores the semantic changes of the Chinese vocabulary “lao gen” and uses literature research methods to examine its evolution process based on rich language materials. The term “lao gen” was originally used to refer to the root system of a plant, but with the development of society, its meaning gradually expanded. During the Tang and Song dynasties, the transformation of the meaning of “lao gen” began to emerge;during the Ming and Qing dynasties, under the promotion of popular literature, “lao gen” initially developed a non-botanical meaning referring to qualified individuals;in modern times, due to social changes and cultural integration, the non-botanical meaning of “lao gen” has been widely applied in many fields, such as culture, economy, and dialects.
