胃癌p53等蛋白表达与患者生存期及预后的关系

Relationship of p53, VEGF and c erbB 2 protein expression with living period and prognosis of patients with gastric carcinoma

摘要 目的:探讨p53、血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)和c-erbB-2表达与胃癌生物学行为的关系。方法:采用免疫组化方法研究87例胃癌中p53,VEGF和c-erbB-2蛋白的表达。结果:正常胃黏膜p53,c-erbB-2均阴性,胃癌组织中p53,VEGF,c-erbB-2阳性率分别为47.1%,49.4%,40.2%。p53与胃癌淋巴结转移相关,P<0.05。VEGF与胃癌生长方式、浸润深度及预后等关系密切,P<0.05。c-erbB-2与胃癌的分化程度、淋巴结转移及预后关系密切,P<0.05。p53蛋白的表达与患者生存期无明显关系,随患者生存期的延长,胃癌组织内VEGF,c-erbB-2有下降趋势。结论:p53蛋白是预测胃癌生物学行为的有用指标,VEGF,c-erbB-2一起可用于判断胃癌预后,监测病情。 AIM:To study the relationship between the expression of oncogene protein p53,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and c erbB 2 proteins and biologic behaviors of gastric carcinoma. METHODS:Expressions of oncogene protein p53, VEGF and c erbB 2 in 87 cases of gastric carcinomas were investegated immunohistochemically. RESULTS:Expression of both p53 and c erbB 2 proteins was negative in normal gastric mucous membrane, while the positive rate of p53,VEGF and c erbB 2 in gastric carcinomas were 47.1%, 49.4%and 40.2%respectively. The expression of p53 protein in gastric carcinoma tissues was related to metastasis of lymph nodes(P< 0.05);that of VEGF protein was related to growth mode of the tumor, the infiltration depth and prognosis(P< 0.05),and that of c erbB 2 protein was related to differentiated degree, lymph node transformation and prognosis (P< 0.05).p53 protein expression had no obvious correlation with patients living period,and VEGF and c erbB 2 would decrease as patients lived. CONCLUSION:P53 protein is a useful index for estimating biologic behaviours of gastric carcinoma.VEGF and c erbB 2 protein together can evaluate prognosis of patients with gastric carcinoma and be useful for monitoring patients' condition.
