摘要
从《西安市地图集》的总体设计思想方面,研究其编制目的、特点、性质、数学基础、开本、形式、内容结构、编排原则、地理底图和编制工艺等问题,为城市制图提供技术实践和理论基础。
It has caused a bigger impact in the whole nation since the Xi'an Atlas is published. And it is discussed that the Xi'an Atlas is compiled on its features such as purpose,charac- teristic,quality,basic mathematics,size of Atlas,form,contcnt structure,principle of put- ting in order,geographic base map and compiling technology etc.on overall designing idea of compiling Xi'an Atlas.It will make progress on technical practice and theory basis for urban cartography.
