摘要 血管内皮细胞生长因子(vascularendothelialgrowthfactor,VEGF)是迄今为止已知的最强的促血管生长因子,其由多种正常细胞产生和分泌,特异性作用于存在VEGF受体即flt-l(VEGFR-1)或KDR(VEGFR-2)的血管内皮细胞(VEC)而实现其生物学效应。除人们所熟知的可以增加血管通透性,促进血管生成,维持血管功能,修复损伤后血管的功能外,更有研究表明其对神经细胞有直接保护作用并可促进神经元的生成。缺氧为VEGF/VEGFR表达的最强调节因素。许多实验都证实了脑缺血过程中均伴有VEGF及其受体的表达,与缺血性脑血管病的发生发展密切相关。目前VEGF作为一种功能强大且能产生多种效应的细胞因子因其潜在的治疗前景引起国内外的广泛关注。
