摘要
乐府是西汉时从武帝到哀帝一百年间最为重要的宫廷音乐机构。文章认为 ,乐府不在城内上林苑中 ,其大致位置在长安城西 ,建章宫北 ,与平乐观相邻之处。文章在理清乐府、太乐、黄门、掖庭这些宫廷音乐机构的地域分布的基础上得出 :武帝立乐府于城外是出于郊祀游猎活动的需要 。
The paper maintains that the Shanglin Royal Music Academy,the key mus ical institution of the Western Han Dynasty during the reigns from Emperor Wu to Emperor Ai (140 BC to AD 1),is located north of Jianzhang Palace,neighboring Pingle Temple,to the east of the capital Chang'an,rather than in the Shanglin Garden,as is generally accepted by historians.Based on his studies of other mu sic academies of the same time,the author concludes that Emperor Wu's establish ment of the royal music academies outside the capital city is the requirement of his hunting and worshipping,both of which take place away from the royal palac e,and the decline of the academy is caused by the confinement of the emperors' activities to the inside of the palace.
