摘要
Objective To investigate the correlations betweengastric Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection and colorectalpolyps or cancer. Methods Among patients who finishedcolonoscopy exams in Peking Union Medical College Hospital( PUMCH) between May 2012 and May 2017,3 483 patients were diagnosed with colorectal polyps,135 patients with newly diagnosed colorectal cancer. Atotal of 1 925 healthy subjects were enrolled as normalcontrols. Gastric rapid urease tests (RUT) were done inall patients. General clinical data,RUT results,sizesand numbers of polyps,cancer location were analyzed.Results The proportion of Hp infection in patients withcolorectal polyps was 31. 5%,higher than that in healthycontrols. The odds ratio (OR) of Hp infection in polypgroup was 1. 17 (95% CI 1. 04 - 1. 32) after age andgender were adjusted. The Hp infection rate in patientswith polyps over or equal to 1 cm was significantly higherthan that in patients with polyps smaller than 1 cm.
