摘要
当今文化的广泛叙述化,迫使叙述研究不能再延续以小说为中心的模式,而必须建立一门广义叙述学,但是所谓的"后经典叙述学"至今不能面对这个任务,尤其是因为其主要人物都不愿意放弃叙述定义中的"时间回溯"。本文提出了一个新的非回溯性的"最简叙述"定义,依据这个新定义提出对所有叙述作分类的三个标准:事实性(以及虚构中的事实性)标准、媒介(叙述形态)标准,以及语态(内在时间向度)标准。由于当代文化中"现在向度叙述"的地位越来越重要,对此本文做了重点分析,指出其叙述展开的不确定性,会引出意图的自我循环。
Since the large-scale'Narrative Turn'that has been taking place in hu- man sciences in the last twenty years,the profound narrativization of contemporary culture forces narratology to leave the paradigm established on the study of the novel, and a general narratology that embraces all kinds of narratives is urgently called for. However,the'Post-Classical Narratology'does not seem to be ready to meet the challenge,as most of its leading members do not want to give us the'fundamental retrospectiveness'of the narrative. This paper,however,proposes a definition of minimal narrative which removes the'recounting'part of the definition of the narra- tive,and,based on the new definition,an all-narrative typology as distinguished by three criteria: factuality (as appropriated in fictionality),medium (narrational mor- phology),and mood (intentional temporality). The paper attempts a detailed analysis of the'current narratives'(e. g. live television reports) since they occupy an important position in today's culture and emphasizes that the incertitude of the emplot- ment could lead to intentional self-circulation.
