摘要
日本京都醍醐寺1994年列入世界文化遗产名录。其寺院为日本真言密宗开山祖师空海的再传弟子圣宝于公元874年创建。为日本真言密宗醍醐派的中心寺院。据文献记载,唐时密教从印度传入中国汉地,后经来唐求法的学问僧空海又传到了日本,世称东密。日本醍醐寺不仅保留有空海自唐请回的金刚界和胎藏界两界曼陀罗图像,而且还有部分唐样式文物。醍醐寺堪称是唐密东渡与东密隆盛的历史见证。
The Daigo-ji Temple in Kyoto included in the world cultural heritage list in 1994. The temple was built in 874 by Sheng Bao who was the disciple of Kong Hai. It is the central temple of Tantrism Daigoji-pa. According to the documents, Tantrism was introduced to China in Tang dynasty from India and then transported to Japan named Dongmi by Kong Hai, who came to China in Tang dynasty. Japanese Daigo-ji Temple not only hold two Mandala image belong to Vajra-dhaatu and Garbha-dhaatu which from China but also Tang style cultural relics. The Daigo-ji Temple witnessed the history of Tang’s Tantrism communication and prosperous Dongmi.
