摘要
提出一种嵌入式系统软硬件协同设计方法 ,它以数据流图为系统模型对嵌入式系统的功能和性能需求进行描述 ,并通过一种特定的实现结构 ,使得设计者可以借助快速样机平台和事件驱动式监测技术来精确测定目标系统对系统模型的实现状况 ,从而使得软硬件协同设计过程特别是系统优化和性能验证能在精确、可靠的测试数据基础上进行 .同目前通常使用的以软硬件部件性能估算为基础的软硬件协同设计方法相比 ,这种以测试为基础的设计技术更能确保设计结果的合理 .
A hardware/software co-design approach for embedded systems is proposed in this paper. The approach uses data flow graph as system model to describe the functional and performance requirements of the designed system. With a dedicated implementation architecture, designers can use a rapid prototype platform and event-driven monitoring technique to perform a precise measurement about the designed system concerning to its system model, which makes the design process including system optimization and performance verification to be undertaken based on precise and reliable measurement data. Comparing to the conventional hardware/software co-design approaches based on performance estimation for hardware and software components, the design technique may result in higher quality design solution.
