摘要
通过分析最近20年世界图书馆新建筑的特征,从建筑的艺术造型和象征意义、造型与环境、实际使用功能、内部结构与布局等方面,探讨了当代图书馆建筑如何满足图书馆服务和读者的需求,符合社会发展和科技进步的需要。
This article analyzes the features of new library buildings constructed in the last 20 years. It discusses such issues as the architectural form and its symbolic meanings, forms and environment , practical functions, interior design and layout, etc, and tries to discover how modem library buildings can meet the requirements of library services and the development of science and technology.
