摘要
本文对福建海岸晚第四纪地质的“老红砂”、“海滩岩”、“海蚀地貌”、海平面变动和新构造运动等问題进行了讨论,提出了一些与前人不大一致的观点。
Based on field investigations in the coastal zone from Fuzhou to Dongshan of Fujian Provinec in 1985,1986,the following knowledges relates to late Quarternary have been concluded:1.Based upon texture,structure,distribution of the'Old Red Sand'and the coexistence of'Old Red Sand'and modern eolian sand,We consider the'Old Red Sand'there as an eolian deposit.2.Bioclastics distributed the upper layers of Houshijing and Kuetou Sections are eolian deposits.These deposits have been regarded by other workers as beachrocks and has led to the wrong conclusion of the Holocene sea-level changes and neotectonic movement.3.The climax elevation of the Holocene beachrocks is nearly the same as that of the modern beach ridge and consequently no evidence indicating the existenceof high sea-level during the Holocene in the coastal zone of Fujian Province exists.
