摘要
海岸是新构造运动反映极为敏感的地带,历来为地质、地貌学者所重视。厦门岛及其邻区新构造运动的迹象十分明显,但过去研究甚少。1978年笔者参加了厦门港区环境地质调查工作,搜集了一些资料,并参阅了前人的有关论述,写成本文。由于水平所限,不当之处,诚望批评指正。
In this paper,the expressions and properties of neo-tectonic movement in Xiamen(Amoy)Island and its adjacent area are macroscopically analysed,their types and fundamental characteristics are summarized,and then three neo-teetonic regions for the studied area are subdivided,e.g.the south region of strong block-differential uplift,the north region of slow intermittent uplift and the Longhai plain region of fault-depressed subsidenee.Since Neogene period,the general tendency of crustal movement in the studied area is uplift.The distribution of ancient coastline evidence and the uplifted height of Futan Formation,as well as the burial depth of alluvium-pluvium in the Longhai plain show that the total amplitude of uplift and subsidence of neo-teetonic movement reaches its maximum of about 300--400 metres and the average uplift rate is about 0.12--0.16mm/yr.
