摘要
红色旅游景区牌示解说的英译不仅关系到景区的对外形象,而且是国际游客熟悉景区、获取红色文化信息的重要途径。通过对辽宁红色旅游经典景区实地调研,依托克里斯蒂安·诺德的"翻译失误"理论,总结分析红色旅游景区牌示解说的英译特点,发现其英译中存在语用性、文化性、语言性和文本特有性翻译失误。因此,需从主管部门、景区、译者三方面提出规范对策,以提升红色旅游景区牌示解说的英译质量,有效发挥其预期功能。
The C-E translation of sign commentaries plays an important role in boosting images of red tourism spots. It is also a good way for international tourists to learn Chinese red cultures when visiting the spots. Based on the investigation of the classic red tourism spots in Liaoning Province,this study summarizes the general characteristics of sign commentaries of red tourism spots and analyzes their translation in light of Christiane Nord's theory on'translation error'. There are namely pragmatic,cultural,linguistic and text-specific C-E translation errors. Therefore,strategies have been put forward from three aspects to standardize the present C-E translation of sign commentaries in the red tourism spots,which are expected to improve the translation quality and thereby exert its intended functions.
