摘要
从美利奴羊衍生出来的Booroola绵羊携带增加排卵数和产羔数的一个常染色体突变主效基因(FecB)。该位点已被定位到绵羊6号染色体的一个区间内。通过对可能候选基因的分析排除了包括6号染色体在内的与繁殖控制有关的大量基因(主要包括糖蛋白激素α亚基基因、促卵泡素β亚基基因、促黄体素β亚基基因、促卵泡素受体基因、促黄体素受体基因、促性腺激素释放激素受体基因、α抑制素基因、βA抑制素基因、βB抑制素基因、促卵泡素抑制蛋白基因、类胰岛素生长因子I基因等)。
Booroola sheep derived from the Merino sheep carry an autosomal mutation(Fec B )that increases ovulation rate and litter size.The locus has been mapped to a region on sheep chromosome 6.Analyses of possible candidate genes have excluded a number of genes associated with control of reproduction including genes from chromosome 6(involving glycoprotein hormoneαsubunit gene,follicle stimulating hormoneβsubunit gene,luteinizing hormoneβsubunit gene,follicle stimulating hormone receptor gene,luteinizing hormone receptor gene,gonadotropin-re-leasing hormone receptor gene,β-inhibin gene,β A -inhibin gene,β B -inhibin gene,follistatin gene,insulin-like growth factor I gene).
