Photoluminescence of Mn^(2+) in Zn_2SiO_4 Material

摘要 利用Sol gel法制备掺Mn2 + 的Zn2 SiO4的前驱体 ,并将前躯体在弱氧化气氛下在 10 0 0℃煅烧 2h ,得到掺Mn2 + 的Zn2 SiO4试样。X射线衍射分析确定试样为α Zn2 SiO4晶相。荧光分析测定试样的激发光谱和发射光谱。结果显示Mn2 + 掺杂的α Zn2 SiO4可发蓝色和绿色荧光 ,这一结果显然不同于以前的文献报道。同时 ,我们讨论了Mn2 + 在Zn2 Mn 2+ doped Zn 2SiO 4 was prepared by a sol gel process at weak oxidation atmosphere and 1000℃ and keeping this temperature for 2 hours.X ray diffraction(XRD)pattern,excitation spectra and emission spectra of the doped and undoped samples were investigated.The result indicates that the XRD pattern of the doped sample exhibits a willemite structure.No characteristic diffraction peaks of dopant were observed.A novel photoluminescence phenomenon of Mn 2+ was observed from Mn 2+ doped Zn 2SiO 4 sample (blue and green emission bands),which is significantly different from that of previous reports.It is very important for the applications and researches of Mn 2+ doped luminescent materials.
