摘要
[目的/意义]研究北京工业大学机械工程学科发展的现状、趋势和存在问题。[方法/过程]利用In Cites数据库,以论文数、论文被引百分比、被引次数排名前10%的论文百分比、引文影响力、国际合作论文百分比作为评价指标,对该校2010—2014年机械工程学科领域发表在Web of Science上的论文进行定量分析,并与11所同类院校进行对比分析。[结果/结论]该校机械工程学科的WOS论文水平有所提高,但和全球平均水平还有一定差距;虽然论文数量增加但质量有所下降。对此提出改进建议。
[Purpose/significance] The paper is to research status quo, trend and existing problems of development of mechanical engineering subject of Beijing University of Technology. [Method/process] The paper uses In Cites database to do a quantitative analysis on Beijing University of Technology’s articles on mechanical engineering published in Web of Science from 2010 to 2014 by choosing articles’ quantity, percentage of articles cited, percentage of articles with citation frequency in top 10%, influence of articles cited, and percentage of international cooperation articles as evaluation indexes, and compares it to the same kind of 11 universities.[Result/conclusion] The level of articles of mechanical engineering subject of Beijing University of Technology included in WOS is improved, but there is a certain gap from the global average level; the articles’ quantity increases but quality declines. For these, the paper puts forward improvement suggestions.
