摘要
研究了纳米二氧化硅(SiO2)粒子对聚丙烯(PP)的冲击强度和拉伸强度的影响,比较了溶液共混法与聚合法的改性效果差异,并从机理上进行了探讨.研究发现:用溶液共混法制备的纳米SiO2/PP复合材料,其冲击强度在纳米SiO2粒子含量为4%左右时达到最大值,约为未经改性的PP材料的8倍;用纳米SiO2粒子改性的PP材料的拉伸强度与未经改性的PP材料基本一致;在相似的工艺条件下,共混法对PP的增韧效果较聚合法显著.
The influence of particles of nanometer silicon dioxide (SiO2) on the impact toughness and tensile strength of polypropylene (PP) is investigated and the difference between the effects of modification with methods of solution comixing and polymerization is compared and discussed in terms of their mechanism. It is found by the investigation that, when the composite of nanometer SiO2/PP is prepared with the method of solution comixing, the impact toughness will achieve its maximum with particle content of nanometer SiO2 being 4% or so, being approximately eight times of that of not modified PP. The tensile strength of both modified and nonmodified PP is basically the same. Under similar conditions of processing, the toughening effect of PP with method of solution comixing is more remarkable than that with polymerization method.
