摘要
自噬是一种普遍存在于细胞的生命现象,与细胞的生长、增殖、分化、凋亡、癌变都有密切的关系。随着对自噬与肿瘤关系的研究的不断深入,研究者对自噬在多发性骨髓瘤(MM)中的作用逐渐关注。研究发现,自噬与骨髓瘤细胞的生存、增殖和死亡有重要关系,且骨髓瘤细胞的自噬水平也明显高于正常浆细胞。这些发现为骨髓瘤的治疗提供了新的思路。本文就自噬在MM中的研究进展做一综述。
Multiple myeloma(MM)is a clonal plasma malignancy characterized by malignant proliferation of plasma cells in the bone marrow and huge amounts of monoclonal immunoglobulin synthesis.MM can simultaneously cause osteolytic bone lesions,renal disease,anemia and hypercalcemia.Accumulating pieces of evidence indicates that the level of autophagy in MM cells is significantly higher than that in normal plasma cells,and increased autophagy plays an important role in myeloma cell survival and proliferation due to its ability to protect MM cells from the harmful effect of energy deficiency and unfold proteins accumulation.However,prolonged and excessive autophagy can lead MM cells to autophagic cell death.With further study,autophagy would be a promising new target for anti-MM therapy.
