编辑的素质决定着期刊的水平。医学期刊要在激烈的市场竞争中求得生存及发展,必须要有一支素质高且善于终身学习的编辑人才队伍。在知识经济时代,科技迅猛发展,医学新知识、新技术和新工具不断涌现,为掌握新概念、学习新理念、研究新问题、适应新环境,医学期刊编辑只有牢固树立终身学习的理念,在原有医学专业背景的基础上,不断吸纳医学及相关学科的新知识,才能发展和充实自己,成为复合型编辑人才,站在当代学术研究的制高点,筛选到优秀稿件,在激烈竞争的出版市场占有一席之地。
The quality of editors decides the level of periodicals. If medical journals want to survive and develop in fierce market competition,an editor team with high-quality and being good at lifelong learning is necessary. In the knowledge-based economy age,science and technology develop rapidly,new medical knowledge,techniques,and tools continuously appear,in order to grasp new concept,learn new ideas,explore new problems,and adapt to the new environment,medical editors only ifrmly establish the concept of lifelong learning,constantly absorb new knowledge of medical and related subjects based on medical knowledge,develop and enrich themselves,then they may become complex talents,stand on high position of modern academic research,screen out excellent articles,and take a place in iferce competition of publishing market.
