摘要
在国际交流日益频繁、全球化趋势不可抵挡的今天,翻译已成为一种普遍性的活动。通过翻译活动中原文作者、原文、译者、译文、译文使用者等各方面的关系,翻译活动透射出人与人之间复杂的伦理关系,因此,翻译是一项伦理活动。该篇文章以切斯特曼的五大伦理模式为基础,着力从翻译伦理的角度对博物馆中英文解说牌示的翻译进行分析和探讨。
Translation has been playing an increasingly important role in intercultural communication. The interwoven relation?ship among the author, the original script, the translator, the translated script, and the readers has demonstrated that ethics is in?volved throughout the translation. This paper, based on the ethics model from Andrew Chesterman, attempts to look into the translation of Chinese – English illustrative signs in Museums.
